Information We Collect
- Account information (email, organization name)
- Scan targets (domains and IP addresses you provide)
- Exposure scan results, risk analysis, and assessment data
- Email addresses submitted for identity exposure analysis
- Usage data (feature interactions, reports generated, telemetry events)
- Billing data processed securely via Stripe
How We Use Information
We use your information to deliver exposure assessments, generate reports, detect changes in internet-facing systems, compute compromise likelihood, and improve service quality. We do not sell your personal information.
Identity Exposure Analysis
If you submit an email address for identity exposure analysis, we may query third-party breach intelligence services to determine whether the address appears in known public breach datasets. We do not intentionally store full breach dataset contents or sell identity-related information. Results are used solely to generate your assessment and associated risk analysis.
AI-Assisted Analysis
VigilantAI uses AI-assisted systems to interpret exposure findings, prioritize risks, generate summaries, and explain likely attack paths. AI outputs are informational and should not be treated as guarantees of compromise detection or security outcomes.
Data Storage
Data is stored securely using cloud infrastructure in the United States. We implement encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls.
Data Retention
Account and scan data are retained while your account is active and for up to 90 days after cancellation unless otherwise required for operational or legal purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
Third-Party Services
We use Stripe for payment processing, Clerk for authentication, AWS for hosting and storage, and third-party threat intelligence and breach intelligence providers for identity exposure analysis. These providers maintain their own privacy policies.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us.
